Humanitarian law, as a significant branch of international law, plays a crucial role in regulating the protection of civilians during armed conflicts. Among the most vulnerable groups in such conflicts are children, whose special needs and fragile circumstances demand particular attention. International humanitarian rights of children are derived from various treaties, customs, and legal principles, establishing protective measures under war conditions. This article provides a comprehensive overview of the legal position on children's rights in armed conflicts, analysing key international documents such as the Geneva Conventions, the Convention on the Rights of the Child, and protocols from international organizations. The study explores the scope, implementation, and limitations of these protections, addressing the challenges in enforcement and the urgent need to strengthen legal mechanisms to safeguard children's rights during war.
