Abstract
The rapid advancement of technology necessitates the alignment of basic rights and freedoms with legal accountability, particularly in safeguarding people's health rights and preventing adverse outcomes. Among these emerging technologies, artificial intelligence (AI) stands out as one of the most transformative, significantly impacting various sectors, including healthcare. This research aims to employ content analysis to examine the relationship between health rights and AI technology, focusing on transparency, permeability, and their mutual influence. The study reveals that as the importance of new technologies grows, so too do their associated challenges, which require regulation. AI has increasingly shaped the intersection of health rights and broader human rights. However, concerns arise in areas like self-awareness, decision-making, diagnosis, and treatment by AI, potentially leading to violations of health rights. The study suggests that a combined approach, where AI complements human expertise rather than replacing it, is a viable solution. AI should assist, not replace, human decision-makers, ensuring that ultimately, decisions are made by humans.
