During this period, public health concerns and the right to health especially in the context of widespread epidemics emerged as issues of national importance. Using a descriptive-analytical approach, this study examines the impact of the Constitutional era on women’s rights and their agency in advancing those rights. The findings indicate that the active participation of women intellectuals in civic and health associations, such as the Anjoman-e Nazafat (Hygiene Association) in Tehran, alongside their involvement in initiatives related to water sanitation, street cleaning, waste management, child vaccination campaigns, and critical discussions of public health in the press, not only constituted a significant advancement in community health but also marked a crucial beginning in the recognition of women’s public agency and their influence on health policy formation. By contributing to the emergence of civil and governmental institutions, this movement laid the groundwork for the systematic attention to health and sanitation in Iran. جنبش مشروطه به‌عنوان نقطه‌عطفی در تاریخ ایران، زمینه‌ساز نخستین تلاش‌های ساختاریافته برای نوسازی و بهبود شرایط اجتماعی با الهام از مدرنیته شد. در این دوره، مسائل بهداشت عمومی و حق بر سلامت، به‌ویژه با توجه به شیوع بیماری‌های واگیر، به دغدغه‌ای ملی تبدیل گردید. پژوهش حاضر با هدف بررسی تاثیرات عصر مشروطه بر حقوق زنان و نقش آنان در پیشبرد این حقوق با روش توصیفی– تحلیلی نگاشته شده است، نتایج پژوهش حاکی از آن است مشارکت فعال زنان روشنفکر در انجمن‌های شهری و بهداشتی مانند «انجمن نظافت» تهران، اقداماتی همچون توجه به پاکسازی آب‌های آلوده، نظافت معابر، مدیریت پسماند، در کنار فعالیت‌هایی چون آبله‌کوبی کودکان و نقد وضعیت بهداشت کشور در مطبوعات، نه تنها گامی بلند در ارتقای سلامت جامعه بود، بلکه نقطه‌آغاز مهمی برای احقاق حق زنان در عرصه عمومی و تأثیرگذاری بر سیاست‌های بهداشتی به شمار می‌رود. این جنبش با ایجاد نهادهای مدنی و دولتی نوین، بنیان‌های اولیه برای توجه نظام‌مند به سلامت و بهداشت در ایران را پی‌ریزی کرد.
